Truecaller users with Xiaomi devices should open their settings, and do the following for their Truecaller to show Caller ID.
In the past, we have noticed our Xiaomi users having problems with discovering how to get their Caller ID to function properly for Truecaller. The solution to this problem is simple.
Truecaller users with Xiaomi devices should open their settings, and do the following for their Truecaller to show Caller ID:
1. Go to Security > Auto start > Enable Truecaller
2. Go to Security > Permissions > Permissions > Truecaller > Display pop-up window > Accept
3. Go to Notifications > Manage Notifications > Truecaller > Show Floating Notifications
Go to Phone Settings > Additional Settings > Battery > Manage apps battery usage > Choose apps > Truecaller > Custom and in Background Network , choose stay connected.
For Mi 7:
Go to Phone settings > Battery > Manage background data. Alternative is, Phone settings > Security > Permissions > Truecaller > allow all permissions. After that, go to additional settings > battery > manage apps battery usage, by default its “standard” make sure to keep it off.
For MIUi6 (You may also find the setting to enable Truecaller in the Security app on your desktop/homescreen)
